“Modern Revolution“ is the first official album from Sojah which will be released world wide. It is exclusively produced by the well known Irievibrations Crew and shows a mixture of Roots Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop and even a touch of Pop.

When you talk about a complete album, “Modern Revolution“ is a fine example. Each and every song tells it’s own story but still manages to keep a connection between all the other tracks on the LP.
“Modern Revoluion“ is a tailor made album including guest features by Luciano and Iriepathie. This album is for all reggae lovers around the globe who are willing to take part in a “Modern Revoluion“. The jamaican Reggae-Dancehall band SOJAH, which consists of Delus and his younger brother Konshens, grew up in Park Camp before moving to Sherlock/Kingston. Their Father was a soldier and their Mother was a business woman.

SOJAH started out by going to Sugar Minott Studio. This was the band’s first exposure to the music as a business and a lifestyle. Then they moved to Sherlock Crescent, home of the late King Tubby and Baby Cham, in late 1999. Music was much more of a way of life by then. The band started paying for studio time at Cash Flow Studios in Cooreville, close to Sherlock Crescent. Then after thousands of demos, they recorded their first hit single, titled “Pon Di Corner”. This was well received by the Japanese (PPL) which prompted them being requested for a one month tour of Japan in 2005. In 2006, another 2 week tour followed as well as the release of an album exclusively for Japan titled “Sons of Jah”.
Sojah then returned to Jamaica to work on the “Home Court Advantage” hence the venturing into solo careers. Konshens released his first Dancehall/Reggae Nr.1 „Winner“ and won the official jamaican music awards EME and the Stone Love awards in the category BEST NEW ARTIST 2008. Delus had a big success with his single „Gangwar“.

However, SOJAH’s best work to date still comes from their efforts as a duo hooking up with Irievibrations for a truly unique and unmistakable sound bringing you a “Modern Revolution”.
Despite the remarkable success of Konshens and Delus, SOJAH will always remain at the forefront.
