Another well-curated compilation from the esteemed world music imprint Putumayo, AFRICAN REGGAE explores the effect of the musical and cultural exchanges between Africa and Jamaica by collecting 10 reggae and reggae-influenced tracks from across the African continent. A great many styles are on hand, from the pop reggae of Zoro's "Jabulani" to the Nyahbinghi-influenced grooves of Kwame Bediako's soulful "Steppin' Into Zion."
