Local Boston reggae giant Mighty Mystic is poised to explode, and his warning comes in the form of his new mixtape, Wake Up The World: The Mixtape vol. 2. Teaming up with New England's own Split2nd Entertainment, Mystic has been making his presence known. Wake Up The World is an impressive combination of the hottest riddims, well known hip-hop beats (check out Mystic's gravel-like voice over T.I.'s "What You Know") and some special guest cameo drops from Fat Man Scoop, Elephant Man, Buju Banton and Luciano. This mix is just a taste of what Mystic has to offer. Mighty Mystic's campaign to wake up the world has been a long time coming. Hailing from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Mystic has been a long time staple in the thriving Boston reggae scene. Hits like "Treat Her Right", "Better Times" and of course, the summer's anthem, "Riding On The Clouds" have all helped Mystic achieve local and national acclaim.
